ANTIQUE LINEN PATCHWORK CUSHIONS

These cushions are handmade in London, England using Antique Hungarian grain sacks dating from 1910-1930. The sacks are hand woven with flax linen, which is known for its durability and strength, and is said to be 2-3 times stronger than cotton. The varying stripes indicate which mills they came from. It would be impossible to find a modern fabric with such history and character.

The cushions are designed for indoor or outdoor use and are machine washable. They are available in 30cm x 45cm, 45cm x 45cm and 50 cm x 50cm and are supplied with duck feather pads.
